Hilary Swank

Born: July 30, 1974 - Bellingham, Washington

This athletic, luminous actress combined both her love of sport and performance abilities quite early. She competed in the Junior Olympics in swimming and ranked 5th in the Washington State championship in all-around gymnastics.

Beyond sports she acted in a number of local theater productions and school plays, and when she moved to Los Angeles, landed her first professional roles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Next Karate Kid.

This Spanish/Native American enjoys river rafting, sky diving, skiing, and anything to do with the outdoors in her spare time. She has also become an Academy Award favorite for films such as Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry.

Personal Quote: "My most annoying question is 'Hilary, are you ever going to play a pretty girl?'"
