Keanu Reeves

Born: September 2, 1964 - Beirut, Lebanon

This sometimes maligned but solid, professional actor was born in Lebanon and moved to New York City with his mother and sister when his parents divorced. While in school he excelled in sports, particularly ice hockey, and he dropped out of high school to study acting.

After a number of stage performances and some TV time, he finally broke into the business and moved to Hollywood.

He is best known for the wildly different roles of "Ted" in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and "Neo" in the Matrix series.

Personal Quote: "When I don't feel free and can't do what I want I just react. I go against it."
