Natalie Portman

Born: June 9, 1981 - Jerusalem, Israel

This strong, intelligent actress was born in Israel but moved with her family to the United States when she was still a very young child.

She grew up in New York, where at the age of eleven was noticed by an agent and urged to begin modeling. Natalie decided to enter the acting profession instead, making her debut in The Professional.

Perhaps best known for her role as the queen and Anakin Skywalker's wife in the first Star Wars trilogy, she is now attending Harvard University and plans to become a psychologist.

Personal Quote: "There's so much else to do in the world. To just be interested in doing films would limit my life."
