Tobey Maguire
Born June 27, 1975: Santa Monica, California
A talented, quietly energetic young actor, Maguire didn't have the most settled of upbringings; his parents split up soon after his birth, and he spent his early years traveling through California, Oregon, and Washington states. He decided to drop out of high school early to pursue acting. One of his more famous starring roles was in The Cider House Rules, the adaptation of John Irving's best seller. His breakthrough is, of course, Spider-Man.
He is a vegetarian, studies yoga, and enjoys cooking.
Personal Quote: "I think fame is a really complicated thing. It can be a great challenge to handle the difficult parts of it and strengthen your character so you don't get affected in a negative way by it. And I'm scared and excited and hesitant and anxious. I'm conflicted about it, truly."
