Samuel L. Jackson

Born: December 21, 1948 - Washington, D.C.

This strong, hard-working actor was born in D.C. but grew up in Tennessee. He was (and is) an accomplished musician, having played in the school band through to high school. He graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, although he was certainly a rebel and admitted drug user until the early 1990s. He is perhaps best known for his action movies (although he has made many more dramas), such as Pulp Fiction, Shaft, and S.W.A.T..

Personal Quote: I was a square for so long it totally amazes me that people think I am cool.
