Christopher Guest
Born: February 4, 1948 - New York, New York
Arguably best known as Nigel Tufnel of This Is Spinal Tap, this versatile writer and actor focuses on comedies, which are free-form and tend to skewer various genres or situations of life.
While he works mostly in America, he has an English sense of humor, and his idol growing up was the great Peter Sellers. He is married to the actress Jamie-Lee Curtis and they have two adopted children.
Personal Quote: "Comedy is like music. You have to know the key and you have to find players with good chops."
