Sean Connery

Born August 25, 1930 - Edinburgh, Scotland

A dedicated professional and sophisticated leading man, he started life as a male model and body-builder before being chosen as James Bond for the famous movie series.

After seven films as 007 he moved on to other things, including an Irish cop in The Untouchables and Russian sub commander in The Hunt For Red October. A dancer, loyal Scot, and avid golfer, he received his knighthood in 1999.
