Steve Buscemi
Born: December 13, 1957 - Brooklyn, New York
This intelligent, well-rounded actor grew up in New York City and took to acting late in high school. Writing, acting, and performing in original theater pieces, even stand-up comedy, he honed his skills and broke into the movie business in the mid-80s.
The success of Reservoir Dogs in the early 1990s brought him to the attention of the general public, and he has capitalized on this by appearing in numerous hits since then, including Pulp Fiction, Con Air, Fargo, and for the younger set, Spy Kids 2 and Monsters, Inc.
In addition to his film work, Buscemi joined the cast of HBO's The Sopranos, starring as Tony, James Gandolfini's cousin and childhood confidante.
Personal Quote: "My favorite review described me as the cinematic equivalent of junk mail. I don't know what that means, but it sounds like a dig."
