Matthew Broderick

Born March 21, 1962 - New York, New York

A boyishly charming comedic actor, he grew up in New York City and took up acting under his father's wing and was placed in a number stage and workshop productions around the city.

His first touch with cult fame was his role in War Games, but he is best known for his free-spirit trickster Ferris Beuller in Ferris Beuller's Day Off.

Since then he has been in a number of solid but not blockbuster films, and recently he has returned to Broadway with the hit musical, The Producers. He is married to TV star Sarah Jessica Parker.
