Harrison Ford will be 66 this July. But age is apparently no deterrent for him or his archaelogist alter ego, who is on the trail of yet another mysterious artifact in the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. The fourth installment of the action franchise pits Indy against Cate Blanchett's KGB agent; Karen Allen co-stars as Marion Ravenwood (Indy's love interest in Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Shia LeBoeuf plays a young greaser who joins in the fun.
Also opening, in limited release: The Children of Huang Shi, a historical drama about a Briths reporter (Jonathan Rhys-Meyers) who tries to save 60 war orphans with help from a partisan (Chow Yun-Fat), Australian adventurer (Radha Mitchell), and an aristocrat (Michelle Yeoh); War, Inc., a political satire with John Cusack, Marisa Tomei and Hilary Duff; and Postal, a comedy-horror film starring Dave Foley.

Four years ago, Sex and the City went off the air. This weekend, HBO's hit comedy comes to theaters, with its main cast intact (though not after some salary dem er, negotiations). Expect fabulous outfits and much hilarious drama-rama surrounding Carrie's and Mr. Big's wedding plans.
For those in the mood for yet another "nice people get terrorized in their vacation home by strangers" plotline, I suggest the other major opening, aptly (if unoriginally) titled The Strangers. For anyone else, here are the rest of this weekend's new films, all in limited releases: The Foot Fist Way, about three friends on a kung-fu pilgrimage; Savage Grace, a based-on-a-true-murder-case story with Julianne Moore; and Bigger, Stronger, Faster*, a documentary about steroids and American culture. I'm guessing Barry Bonds won't be among the audience opening day.

Note: A "limited" release generally means that the movie will play in Los Angeles and/or New York City, but not always. Please check your local papers or theaters for these selected films.
