"Cosby" kids are all grown up

Proof that time flies when you aren't looking: Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy Huxtable on The Cosby Show, will take on a very adult role in Tyler Perry's Madea Goes to Jail. The movie, scheduled for release early next year, stars Perry as Madea Simmons, who ends up in jail; Pulliam will play a prostitute who helps her fellow inmate.

Proof that time flies when you aren't looking, part two: Rumors are flying that Raven-Symoné, of The Cosby Show (she played Lisa Bonet's stepdaughter) and That's So Raven, has gotten married. My initial reaction on hearing this: "That's impossible! She's only three ye -- well, she's a teenag -- um, how old is she now, actually?" (For the record, she's 22, and Pulliam turned 29 last month.)

Though I think the whole Miley Cyrus/Vanity Fair brouhaha is overblown, I do have a little more sympathy now for those who were offended by the photos in question. If I have a hard time picturing Pulliam and Raven-Symoné as grown-ups instead of the little girls they played, how much harder would it be to separate Cyrus from Hannah Montana?
