Actor-comedian Joey Bishop died Wednesday at his Newport Beach home, his publicist said yesterday. Bishop began his career in stand-up and starred in two TV shows, but he is probably best known for belonging to the '60s incarnation of the Rat Pack. The quintet of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Peter Lawford, Sammy Davis Jr., and Bishop starred in seven films together, including the original Ocean's Eleven crime caper. Bishop was 89.
